The Training Program

You have Asthma or mild COPD?

We provide a science & evidence-based respiratory retraining program complementing your medical care.

The training program will help you to improve breathing control, reduce symptom burden, and enhance breathing efficiency.

Our program is built on four pillars:

4. Nervous System Regulation

Stabilize and reduce stress-driven breathing instability.

Stress can amplify airway sensitivity and breathlessness. We integrate slow nasal breathing and autonomic regulation techniques to reduce escalation cycles and strengthen calm control during discomfort.

2. Ventilatory Efficiency

Respiratory Exercise Device

Optimize how much and how you breathe.

Excessive or inefficient breathing can influence airway sensitivity and symptom perception. We retrain breathing volume, rhythm, and biomechanics to improve stability and reduce unnecessary respiratory effort.

3. CO₂ Tolerance

Strengthen your tolerance to natural CO₂ fluctuations.

Your primary breathing trigger.

Carbon dioxide plays a key role in oxygen delivery and respiratory regulation. Through progressive, controlled exercises, we gently improve tolerance to natural CO₂ fluctuations, supporting breathing stability and resilience.

1. Awareness & Assessment

Medical Desk Setup

Measure and understand your current breathing patterns and habits.

Most respiratory symptoms are influenced not only by lung function, but by breathing habits too. We make you become aware of your current breathing habits and we assess a clear baseline to detect priority areas and to target measurable improvement; respiratory rate, breathing mechanics, and CO₂ tolerance.

How does it work?

Breathing is not just air moving in and out of the body. It is a complex and fascinating interaction between:

  • Respiratory muscles

  • CO₂ sensitivity in the brain

  • Bronchial tone

  • Stress response & Nervous system regulation

  • Habitual breathing patterns

Research shows that many people with asthma or respiratory symptoms:

  • Breathe slightly faster than optimal

  • Breathe through the mouth more frequently

  • Have lower CO₂ tolerance

  • Overuse accessory breathing muscles

  • Experience stress-driven hyperventilation

It means your breathing control system can become dysregulated and far from optimal and therefore worsening asthma and COPD symptoms. The good news is that respiratory efficiency and regulation can be trained.

Our Program combines protocols and principles derived from:

  • Functional breathing science

  • Buteyko breathing retraining

  • Oxygen Advantage methodology

  • Respiratory biomechanics

  • Autonomic regulation research

This program perfectly complements and never replaces medical care. These pillars are not separate techniques. They form a tested and integrated system.

Training Structure & Organisation

Every participant begins with an initial individual assessment session. This session allows us to evaluate:

• Your current respiratory condition
• Your breathing patterns and ventilatory habits
• Your CO₂ tolerance level
• Your symptom profile and triggers
• Your personal goals and lifestyle context

Because respiratory conditions vary significantly between individuals, your training structure is adapted based on this assessment.

Therefore your program may differ in:

• Live-only or hybrid format (live + guided online practice)
• 5-session or 8-session pathway
• Group-based or individual coaching

This ensures both safety and maximum training effectiveness.

Location

Live training sessions are delivered in Luxembourg City.

The training space is calm, structured, and designed to allow focused respiratory practice in a safe environment.

Training Equipment

All necessary tools are provided as part of the program.

You will receive your own training materials to use throughout the program, allowing you to practice consistently between sessions and build real autonomy.

Program Options & Investment

Your investment reflects a structured, progressive respiratory retraining program.

Group Programs

• 5-session group program : 380€
• 8-session group program : 580€

Group sessions allow guided learning in a supportive environment while maintaining individual attention.

Individual Training

• 90€ per session

Individual sessions allow deeper personalization and are recommended for participants with more complex symptom profiles or specific performance goals.
